Troubleshooting – Catheter Bonding Machine

• Nothing happens when press the MAIN POWER switch.
Make sure power cord is securely plugged into the power jacket. Check power line to make sure there is power. Check the main fuse for continuity.
• Laser power LED on the back end of the laser unit does not light up when a program is started.
Make sure the key switch on the back end of the laser unit is turned on. Ensure that you chose the correct program as the default program. Check the internal fuses.
• Nothing happened when I pressed the START button
Make sure you exit from program mode and the laser bonder is in standby mode.
• Red laser pointer spot is not centered on the sample.
Sample is not properly centered. Re-load sample and make sure it is centered
• Sample wobbles during rotation.

• Laser spot size too big or small
Spot size or focal point changed. See section CHANGE THE SPOT SIZE and ADJUST THE FOCAL POINT to adjust the spot size and focus
• Video is blurred on the screen
Video image is not well focused. Rotate the camera lens to adjust the focus.
• Sample burned during bonding
Laser power too high or bonding time is too long. Reduce laser output power or bonding duration
• Poor bonding quality
Laser power too low or bonding time is too short. Increase laser output power or bonding duration
