How To – Sponge Change

The initial conditions are:
Wiper In/Out axis is at home – in center of beaker, able to clear cover opening Wiper Up/Down axis is at home – in beaker at lowest position without sponges touching bottom of beaker
Wipers are closed
Door is closed
The change sequence is:
Press the Change Sponge button
The wiper UD axis moves upward to clear the liquid
The wiper UD axis moves upward past the cover squeeze position at the squeeze velocity. The intent is to wring out any excess solution
The wiper UD axis moves to above the cover at the cover clearing speed.
The wiper gripper is opened
The wiper UD axis moves to the sponge change out position
The door is unlocked by the software and the operator is prompted to open the door
The operator opens the door.
The operator changes the sponges or beaker solution.
When done, the operator closes the door.
The door is locked by the software.
The operator presses the Exit button on the screen
The wiper gripper is closed
The wiper UD axis returns to home position (inside beaker)
